NutriLish ("we", "our", or "the app") is developed by PLAYRIOT LLC. Your privacy is important to us. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

Data We Collect

NutriLish collects the minimum data needed to provide the service:

• Account information: When you sign in with Apple, we receive your Apple ID identifier and, if you choose to share it, your email address. We do not receive your Apple ID password.
• Meal data: Photos you take, food items you log, and nutrition information are stored on your device and optionally synced to our servers so you can access them across devices.
• Profile information: Name, dietary goals, and preferences you enter in the app.

How We Use Your Data

• To provide nutrition tracking and AI-powered food analysis
• To sync your data across your devices
• To improve the accuracy of our food recognition

Photo Processing

When you photograph a meal, the image is sent to our servers for AI analysis to identify foods and estimate nutrition. Photos are processed in real time and are not stored on our servers after analysis is complete.

Data Storage & Security

Your meal log and profile data are stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework. When you are signed in, data is synced to our backend (hosted on Supabase) using encrypted connections. We use industry-standard security practices to protect your data.

Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

• Supabase: Authentication and data sync
• Google Gemini: AI food recognition and nutrition estimation
• FatSecret API: Nutrition database lookups
• USDA FoodData Central: Nutrition reference data
• Apple StoreKit: Subscription management

These services have their own privacy policies. We do not sell your data to any third party.

Your Rights

• You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from the Settings screen in the app.
• You can use the app without signing in; your data stays entirely on your device.
• You can request a copy of your data by contacting us.

Children's Privacy

NutriLish is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the app or by updating the date at the top of this page.
